Negaunee––– James Edward Sult, 36, of 169 City Road East, Negaunee, entered eternal life on Tuesday afternoon, April 29, 2008.
He was born December 10, 1971, in Marquette, and attended Fisher, Bothwell, and Bi-County Schools. Jim had been previously employed as a roofer. Jim enjoyed going to camp, especially with his grandson, Ryan.
Survivors include his parents, Susan (Bell) and Charles Voakes of Marquette; a sister, Jennifer Voakes (Don Larson); his lifelong love, Cynthia J. Mahaffey; a step-daughter, Jody Mahaffey (Dave Peterson), a daughter, Breanna Christunas of Phoenix, AZ; and his loving grandchildren , Ryan and Taylor Peterson; his paternal grandparents, Maurice and Emma Voakes of Clinton Township, MI; his uncles, Don Bell of Marquette and Ted Bell of Republic; his aunts, Nancy (William) Gorst of Little Lake, MI, Janet (Rocky) Donato of Corona, CA; Shirley (Ray) Thomas of Antoich, CA; Donna (Mark) Schnoor of New Haven, MI; his special aunt, Denise Simons of Marquette; a great aunt, Leona Sult of Marquette; and many cousins and loyal friends. Jim was preceded in death by his brother, Larry; his maternal grandparents, Evelyn and John Bell; his uncles, John "Jack" Bell, Jr., James E. Bell, and Frank Voakes.
At Jim's request no services will be held. Jim will be missed by all his wonderful, supporting friends and will always be in his family's thoughts. He is gone, but not forgotten.
