Bill and family - My name is Bob Chapman and I hired Margie as a secretary at the Michigan Rehabilitation Office - I guess back in the 80's. Margie was one of the best secretaries that ever worked at the office. She was always on time, dependable, cheerful, competent and ready to go the extra mile. Margie got along with all the staff and was highly respected by everyone in the office. I would have loved to have had about 10 more Margies working for me. Margie was a truly good and caring person. She liked and cared for the people she worked with - both her co-workers and her customers. Hiring Margie was one of the best moves I ever made as the UP District Office Manager. I am a better person for having known and worked with Margie. I am sorry that she is gone. You can be very proud of her. .

I was greatly saddened to hear of the passing of your wife, mother, sister, grandmother and good friend to many. I worked with Margie for many years at Michigan Rehab. and always enjoyed her very outgoing personality and also the deep compassion she had for others. She spoke often of her family and it was apparent she had a great love for all of you! I would like to extend my deepest sympathy to you, and may the many positve memories you have of her help to sustain you and give you peace in this time of great sorrow. .

Margie meant so much to Mary and I. She always had a smile and a beautiful laugh when she came over for tea with Mary. She was so proud of Bill, her children and grandchildren, all who brought much happiness into her life. She was taken much too early from us but we will all meet again some day. She was a blessing to all of us. .
