Ma was one of the best women I ever met. She had a heart of gold and would do anything for you. She helped me out more times than I can count. I will never forget her roasters full of spaghetti and how much she loved to cook for everyone. There was always huge family gatherings and we were always a part of them. I know that my mom and dad will also miss her very much. She was their second mom and they loved her so. My thoughts and prayers are with all of you in the family and know that you have an angel watching over you all.

Dear Eddie:
I spoke with my sister, Ann Thill, this evening and she told me that Gordice had died and that her funeral was tomorrow. Please accept out deepest sympathy in your loss. Being so far away from Marquette makes it difficulty to be present and provide support at these times, but please know you are in our prayers.
If there is anything that I can do for you please let me know. God bless you and your family at this very difficult time.

Just by chance I looked at the obituaries for Marquette as I was talking to my brother Pat and noticed your wife's passing. I don't think I ever met her. She sounds like a very nice person. I'm sure you will miss her.
I always thought you were a good guy and was disappointed when you were not at our class reunion.
I don't know why you were not there. I don't get home very often, but I try to talk with Dick Lehtinen, Jerry King, and Dick Handrahan when I am there to visit my Mom and brothers. Would you like me to touch base with you next time I'm home?

you were hands down the best grandma in the world. You made sure we had more than we needed. Nobody went without. I don't know how you put with all us in your house! But you loved a full house. All you needed was a little corner of the bed. I hope there's a big corner bed waiting for you, waiting to be filled once again with all of us. Love you so much gram. Can't wait to see you again.

Gram
always has been and always will be the heart and soul of our
family. She took excellent care of her family. Granny Bird is
still taking care of us, watching over us and making sure we
don't step out of line. When remembering her we will remember
her dancing, singing and living life to the fullest. Anybody
who has ever met our Gram is lucky to have known such an awesome
woman. Granny Bird will be missed more then words could ever
express.
