WEST PLAINS, MO ––Romaine T. Pascoe,
80, former lifelong Marquette resident, entered eternal
life Monday, October 22, 2007, in West Plains, Missouri,
where she had resided for the past three years.
Romaine was born May 24, 1927, in Marquette, the daughter
of Joseph and Louise (Stuer) Andrasko. She was employed
as a nurse at the former St. Mary’s Hospital for 15
years, working until that facility closed. She was a member
of St. Peter Cathedral, life member of the Negaunee VFW
Auxiliary #3165, life member of the Richard Jopling Post
#44 American Legion Auxiliary, charter member of the Federated
Order of Eagles Auxiliary in Negaunee, American Association
of Retired Persons, and a former 14th District president
of the VFW Auxiliary. She was also an avid cribbage player,
having belonged to several cribbage leagues over the years,
and enjoyed crocheting.
Survivors include two daughters, Renee (David) Bunch of
West Plains, MO and Patricia (David) Moore of Milwaukee,
WI; a son, Thomas Roos of Milwaukee, WI; her former daughter-in-law,
Jean (Jerry) Terando of Morris, IL; her grandchildren, Lisa
Harper, Shawn Bunch, Joseph and Timothy Moore, Allen Borchert,
and Karen White; and nine great-grandchildren. In addition
to her parents, Romaine was preceded in death by husbands,
Harold Borchert, Thomas Roos, and Thomas Pascoe; and a son,
Steven Borchert.
Friends may call at the Bishop’s Room at St. Peter
Cathedral on Friday, October 26, beginning at 11:00 am.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 1:00 pm
Friday afternoon in the cathedral with Rev. Msgr. Louis
Cappo as celebrant. Entombment will be made in the Holy
Cross Cemetery Mausoleum. Pallbearers will be David and
Alexander Moore, David Bunch, Thomas Roos, Allen Borchert,
and Jerry Terando.
