was shocked to here the passing of one of my good friends,I
have not seen john that much since he had left munising.But
the memories I have were all good memories,we did alot of back
road cruising,and alot of st.martin hill hunting.John was always
there if afriend needed him.I sure will miss john(toike).

and boys ... I'm so sorry to hear about John's passing. I have
been out of the office for a number of days and returned late
this afternoon, only to read Carol's e-mail, informing us of
your loss. John is in a special place now, where your parents,
grandparents and Great Grandma and Grandpa Wendt were all waiting
for him and his youthful spirit with loving arms. So many aunts
and uncles are there, too. Quite the Munising family reunion!
Have faith that they are all looking down lovingly on you, Jody,
guiding you and the boys along a lighted pathway. I pray that
you won't feel alone ... I can empathize with you. But you have
many cousins who care. And don't forget -- your friends are
the "family" you choose! May God bless John as he has found
a place of respite, free from any pain. And may the angels watch

That picture of him is the same goofy face I remember back when we (Karen(Johnson)Mellon, Rick Paananen,Dave Bradley,Pat Beckwith,Cheryl (Joynt) Maddox and myself) all used to hang out.I haven't seen John (Toyke) in years, but we all had alot of great memories of him. I will always remember him... he was a big part of my teenage years. He was very protective, not much he wouldn't do, but alot he didn't want Karen and I to do. He will always remain in my thoughts, and I will forever miss him. My heart goes out to all the loved ones he left behind. When times are tough remember his Goofy smile.

in 89 when John Me Sandy Erickson and a few more hung out drinking
BLATZ beer.Yuck...LOL..He was so funnt and he had the greatest
