Marquette––Paul V. Dionne, 72, of 556 County Road 480, Marquette, Michigan, entered eternal life Wednesday, July 25, 2007, at Marquette General Hospital.

Paul was born April 29, 1935, in Marquette, Michigan, a son of Henry Dionne and Marie (Raymond) Dionne. Paul moved to Milwaukee, Wisconsin where he raised six children and was employed by General Electric as an electrician. Upon retirement, Paul returned to the Upper Peninsula. Paul was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather and friend to many. Paul will be remembered for his kindness and generosity to friends and family. His smile, laughter, and numerous entertaining stories will never be forgotten.

Survivors include his wife, Alice (Bingham) Aho who he married on November 1, 2003. His children Patrick of Indiana, Ed (Coleen); Christine (Brian) Pawlowski; Judy (Jim) Kerti; Michele (Tom) Porte; Barb Guslek all of Wisconsin; along with Charles (Debra) Aho and Richard (Cindy) Aho both of Marquette; and Terri (Jeremy) Maurnde and Paul (Wendy) Aho both of Gwinn; 31 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. In addition to his parents, Paul was preceded in death by his wife of 44 years, Carol Ann; his sister, Elizabeth (Betty) Lord and his brother, Norbert.

Friends may call at Prince of Peace Lutheran Chruch, Harvey, on Saturday, July 28, beginning at 3:00 pm. Funeral services will follow in the Church at 4:00 pm Saturday afternoon with Rev. Rell Spickerman officiating. A reception for family and friends will be held in the church hall immediately following the service.
