I
will miss Jimmy's "happy go lucky" attitude. I will miss Jim's
pickled pike and the Bloody Mary's he made for us that always
included a celery stalk or a pickle. I will miss fishing for
Blue Gill with him even though he always out-fished us. But
most of all, I'll just miss the pleasure of talking with Jim
and knowing him. He will be missed!

I'll
never forget our times in the "Swamp" as kids.
It's part of my life forever. All good times.
Jim was a big part of that. And his good family.

Jim,
aka Liljeroos to all of us who knew him, will be greatly missed.
He has been my mothers best friend for 20 years as well as our
neighbor. He was not only a friend, but our brother and a part
of our family. The best memories are of when we played cribbage
and he would "let" me win sometimes. He was a permanent fixture
in our family and at all the dinners, fishing excursions, town
trips, and during hunting season. I was very shocked to hear
of his passing and wish I could be there for the services. It
was just a couple weeks ago he and I were playing cribbage,
playing with Buddy, and talking about random things. These are
the memories I will always hold near me. Lilly is the guy who
gave my ma her name..woodsy all those years ago. He always was
there when I needed someone to talk to or to just hang out with
and have supper with. Heck, my ma and I even got him to let
us have not one...but THREE christmas trees at the resort a
couple years ago. Of course we had to take them with us when
we left...but that was Jimmy for you. He also is the one who
taught me to not take life so seriously and just enjoy being
home in da UP. I will miss you very much Jim...It won't be the
same coming home and not calling you at 6am to come over and
make us breakfast.

I
just wanted to express my deepest condolescences to Jim's family
and frieds. My fondest memories are from Jim and Donna's resort
where my son caught his first fish and we spent many summer
weekends enjoying Jim's company and all his hospitality and
personality! Jim was definetely in his element outdoors there.
May his spirt continue to be with us all as he enters his eternal
home in heaven.
