Memory Tribute to Everett Frank Braatz |
My
condolences to the Braatz family. I met Everett at Jacobetti
while playing music often there. I am Keyboard Annie. He was
one of my favorites....alway cheerful and helpful to the others.
I could tell he loved music. He knew my parents, Jim & Pat LaCombe
of Munising and would always mention them to me and thank me
for coming. I played there Saturday and missed him.

Today, I read Ev Braatz's obituary in the Sheboygan Press. Ev was a regular attender of the services at Fountain Park United Methodist Church in Sheboygan, WI. One Sunday, he told me that he had decided to move back to the Upper Peninsula as he needed to be in a Vet's home and receive more assistance with his daily living. We were saddened to lose him as he was such a smiling, friendly person. He was a wonderful man and I'm sure his family was very proud of him. Our prayers are with the family.

Dear
Braatz Family, I have been blessed to have known Everett for
the last few years (since his arrival at Jacobetti's). I called
bingo there on Wednesday afternoons for the Veterans and enjoyed
his smiling face and positive attitude. He was the true meaning
of "Gentle Man." My thoughts and prayers are with all of you
at this most painful time. I will never forget him.
