Harvey––-Kelsey Leigh Lindberg,
16, of 26 Curtis Street, Harvey, entered eternal life Saturday
morning, June 9, 2007, at her home.
Kelsey was born March 26, 1991, in Ishpeming, the daughter
of Dan and Ann (LaFave) Lindberg, and was a lifelong Marquette
area resident. She had just finished her sophomore year
at Marquette Senior High School where she was active in
school activities. A talented and skilled soccer player,
she played on the school’s travel team for many years.
Kelsey was also an excellent track and cross country runner
and represented her school and teammates well. She also
played clarinet in the school band. Kelsey’s academic
achievements were also noteworthy as she was the recipient
of Kaufman Awards and Presidential Awards. Graced with a
warm, beautiful smile and pleasant personality, Kelsey was
a friend to many and enjoyed hanging out with those friends.
She loved her family, and her family in return, treasured
their loving daughter. Her loving ways, smile, and personality
will be missed, but never forgotten.
Kelsey is survived by her parents; three brothers, Kyle
Lindberg and Cole (Tonia) Lindberg both of Marquette, and
Brian (Michelle) Little of downstate Wyoming; her maternal
grandmother, Ruth Lindberg of Marquette; paternal grandfather,
Leo LaFave of Marquette; several aunts and uncles, Chris
and Bruce Sandstrom, Pat and Denise LaFave, Mike and Cathy
