Harvey––Mary Estelle Tonkin, 85, of 308 Corning Street, Harvey, entered eternal life Friday evening, May 25, 2007, at the Marquette County Medical Care Facility in Ishpeming.
Born May 30, 1921 in Marquette, a daughter of Arthur and Exilda (Mercure) Neault, Mary was a lifelong Marquette area resident. On August 24, 1946, she married James P. Tonkin.
Survivors include her husband of 61 years, James; a daughter, Cheryl Gutzman of Harvey; two sons, Dan (Lynn) Tonkin residing in Florida and Brian (Barbara) Tonkin residing in Indiana; daughter-in-law, Connie Tonkin of Marquette; four granddaughters; one grandson; one great-grandson; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Mary was preceded in death by a son, James A. Tonkin; a sister, Lorraine Anderson; and a brother, Arthur Neault.
