Marquette––David Allen Bess, 57, lifelong Marquette resident, entered eternal life Thursday morning, May 10, 2007, at the D.J. Jacobetti Home for Veterans.
David was born August 3, 1949, in Marquette, a son of the late Earl and Beulah (Thompson) Bess. A US Navy veteran, he served during the Vietnam Era. David was a self-employed landscaper in the Marquette area prior to retiring due to disability.
Survivors include two brothers, Carl (Jeannie) Bess of Ft Myers, FL and James Bess of Gwinn; two sisters, Ruth Davidson and Helen Campbell Feltner both of Marquette; several nieces and nephews.
Honoring David's request, no services will be held.
