traveled to visit their children, eventually living in Dallas,
Texas during the winter months, spending summers in McFarland.
Following Victor’s death in 1987, Lillian continued
to spend her summers in McFarland and, in later years, spent
the winters in Arizona before eventually making Mesa her
year round home four years ago, near where her brother Harold
lived. Lillian enjoyed raising her family and being a homemaker.
She enjoyed sewing for family and friends and, in retirement,
accepted sewing assignments from interior decorators, making
draperies and upholstering. She was a former member of Faith
Lutheran Church in Germantown.
