Marquette––Cecelia C. Michelson, 97, of 222 South Fifth Street, Apt #1004 Marquette, entered eternal life Wednesday morning, April 25, 2007, at Norlite Nursing Center where she had been living for the past month.
Cecelia was born November 22, 1909, in Marquette, a daughter of Casimer and Susan (Smith) Nowak and was a life long Marquette resident. Cecelia worked for Modern Cleaners Dry Cleaning retiring with 20 years of service. She was a member of St. Peter Cathedral. Surviving are several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband John; two sisters, Laura Steadman, Mary Swanson; and one brother, Clem Nowak.
Friends may call at the Fassbender Funeral Home on Monday April 30, 2007, from 9:00am until 11:00am. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am in the funeral home with Rev. Francis Ricca officiating. Burial will be in the Holy Cross Cemetery.
