Marquette––Bonnie G. Hudson,
62, of 316 Pine Street, Marquette, and former Big Bay resident,
entered eternal life Saturday morning, March 24, 2007, at
Marquette General Hospital.
Born March 23, 1945 in Marquette, a daughter of Robert and
Grace (Koepp) Gross, Bonnie was raised in Big Bay, and was
a 1963 graduate of the Graveraet High School. She later
moved to Phoenix, Arizona, with her mother and siblings,
residing there for 26 years. She had been a Marquette resident
for the past three years. A homemaker, Bonnie loved to cook
and enjoyed reading.
Survivors include her daughters, Robin Anne Lampinen and
Raffealla “Roci” Marie Hudson both of Marquette;
sons, Robert Stanley Hudson, Jr of Niagara, WI, Russell
Scott (Becky) Hudson of Negaunee, Richard Allen Hudson and
Ronald Bruce Hudson both of Marquette; her grandchildren,
David Lampinen Jr, Nicholas Lampinen, Jeremy Hudson, Reva
Hudson, Scott “Scooter” Hudson, Andrew Hudson,
and Kalysta Smith; her sisters, Pamela Miller and Jacqueline
Alphrn residing in Colorado, Lorna Gross residing in Arizona,
and Valerie (Joe) Crown residing in Washington; her brother,
Robert (Janet) Gross residing in Michigan; and many nieces
and nephews. Bonnie was preceded in death by her parents.
The family will receive relatives and friends at the First
Presbyterian Church, Marquette, on Friday, March 30, beginning
at 4:00 pm. A Service of Remembrance will follow at 6:00
pm Friday evening in the church with Rev. James Robb officiating.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the family.
