Gladys grew up two doors up the street from our family (the
Petersens) and we knew her very well. It is with heartfelt
sympathy that we extend our condolences to all of her family
and friends.
LOVE.

I
knew Gladys through my friend Lynn, her niece. She always had
a friendly hello whenever I saw her and she always remembered
me when I saw her from time to time. She will be missed and
I send my condolences to the entire family at this sad time.

I
was Gladys' counselor this past year at Bay Cliff Camp Independence.
She gave me so many memories I will never forget. My goal for
the week was to get her to remember my name without a cue. It
never really happened, but when she would remember it she would
sing me the "Sarah song." I visited her at Thanksgiving and
she had the giant Gladys sign on her door and her Bay Cliff
name tag right in front of her. Gladys was a trooper and loved
Bay Cliff. I will miss her very much and Camp Independence will
not be the same with out her. We love you Queen Glady of BC!

I
went to school with Gladys and have seen her a few times when
I would come home to visit and her spirits were always very
high. She was a very special person and I am sure there will
be a very special place waiting for her in heaven.

She
was my camper in the 2005 at Bay Cliff. She was such an adorable
woman. She had a great laugh, and gave awesome hugs! The most
memorable moment I have of her is from 2006 when one of the
counselors started to sing, "You are my sunshine" and Gladys
cued right in and sang the chorus with us. She knew a few other
songs too...
