MARQUETTE – Genevieve A. “Genny” Greenleaf, 88, of 316 Chamberlain Street, Marquette, entered eternal life Thursday morning, November 2, 2006, at Bell Memorial Hospital in Ishpeming.

Born December 30, 1917, in Ishpeming, a daughter of Leonard and Margaret (Valenzio) Manzoline, Genny was raised in Ishpeming and attended St. John’s School. She later moved to Marquette where she married Wilfred W. Greenleaf on February 5, 1955. Throughout the years, Genny was employed in retail sales, first at the former Montgomery Ward and then with the Vogue Dress Shop.

Genny is survived by her husband, Wilfred; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Genny was preceded in death by her sister, Esther Bertucci; and brothers, Michael, George, and Paul Manzoline.

Honoring Genny’s request, no services will be scheduled. Inurnment will be made in the Holy Cross Cemetery.
