MARQUETTE –Fay
Clare (Savitski) Larson, 2002 W. Ridge Street, Marquette,
passed away in the loving care of her family at Marquette
General Hospital early Sunday morning, November 26, 2006.
She was born on July 13, 1936 in Marquette, a daughter of
Clifford and Delphine (Bourgeois) Savitski.
Fay loved life though she suffered several illnesses throughout
her life, but during her windows of good health she lived
her life to the fullest. She was an avid fisherwoman and
hunter, and loved nature and the outdoors. She was an excellent
cook and enjoyed gardening, especially her flowers. Fay
enjoyed traveling, the highlight being her trip with Paul
to Alaska. She was no stranger to the casinos and “lady
luck” often fell in her path. Spending time with family
and friends was dearest to her heart. She will be remembered
as a loving and very giving person.
Fay is survived by her husband, Paul D. Larson; three daughters,
Vicky (Murray) Sheppard, Dafter, Cindy Costantino (fiancée,
Jon Gustafson), Marquette, and Patty (Jim) D’Annibale,
Grand Junction, CO; eight grandchildren, Felicia, Kristy,
Selina, Shanece, James, Sean, Ricky, and Nicky; two great-grandsons,
Austin and Shyler; two brothers, Ronald (Ann) Savitski,
Wernersville, PA, and Robert (Noni) Savitski, Appleton,
WI; a sister, Patricia (Ray) Lakenen, Marquette; a brother-in-law,
William (Judy) Larson, Negaunee; a sister-in-law, Marylou
Savitski, Negaunee; and was a loving aunt to many nieces
and nephews. In addition to her parents, Fay was preceded
in death by an infant son, Anthony Joseph.
Friends may call at the Fassbender Funeral Home on Tuesday,
November 28, beginning at 5:00 pm. Funeral services will
follow at 7:00 pm Tuesday evening, in the funeral home,
with Rev. Lawrence Gauthier officiating. Burial will be
made in the Negaunee Cemetery.
