Big Bay–Chris Anthony Lukity, 74,
of Big Bay, entered eternal life Sunday, November 26, 2006.
Chris was born October 3, 1932 in Valley Center, the son
of Anthony and Rosa (Nemith) Lukity. He was employed for
many years as a pipefitter, working at various locations
in the Lower Peninsula. A frequent visitor to the Upper
Peninsula, Chris and his wife, Renate, moved to Big Bay
fifteen years ago. An avid outdoorsman, he enjoyed fishing,
hunting, and boating. He was a veteran of the Korean Conflict,
having served in the US Army.
Survivors include his wife, Renate (Bystron) Lukity, whom
he married September 8, 1962; two daughters, Diann (Timothy)
Coffee of Livingston, TN and Peggy (Kenneth) Murphy of Sterling
Heights; four sons, Chris A. Lukity Jr., Michael (Carol)
Lukity of Warren, Scott (Theresa) Lukity of Romeo, and Daniel
Lukity of Big Bay; and his seven grandchildren, Megan, Lauren,
Brittany, Shannon, Mackenzie, Jacob, and Josh.
The Fassbender Funeral Home is serving the family. No services
