Elmer L. Dismuke, 82, of Manistique, entered eternal life Monday morning, August 21, 2006, at Marquette General Hospital.

Elmer was a veteran of World War II, having served in the US Army.
Survivors include his wife of sixty years, Aloma (Russell) Dismuke, whom he married June 1, 1946 in Toledo; two daughters, Judith Ann (Bart) Dugan of Toledo, OH and Gloria Jean (Walter) Caswell of Newberry; two sons, David (Karla) Dismuke of Newberry and Daniel (Marlene) Dismuke of Sanford, NC; thirteen grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren; a sister, Margaret Mollett of Zeeland; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Elmer was preceded in death by six sisters, Velma Mollett, Pauline Eicher, Mary Jo Summerskill, Mary Roth, Nellie Miner, and Dorothy Bobb; and a brother, Albert Dismuke.
