A Memory Tribute to Arthur Short

My condolences to you & your family,
I was first acquainted with Art when I became employed at the Cliff Dow Chemical plant. I was just out of high school, He was my Shift foreman. It was a dirty job & he never seemed to mind working all those hours there. Art was not only a good foreman but a good guy in general. Always easy to talk with & share a laugh or even his lunch. It's been a long time since I have been back to MI, but the memories will always be with me.

Dear Sherry and Mrs. Short,
My condolences during this time of loss of your loved one. It's been a very long time since I've seen you both (Remember high school days back in the 60's?) My brother, LeRoy, had been passing through Marquette, when he learned of Mr. Short's passing, and he called me to let me know. I know it's hard to lose a loved one, and I pray the Lord's comfort and consolation is with you both always. Take care. Fond Regards,
Diane (Oberto) Kennedy

Dearest June and family,
I will always have fond memories of you and Art at Silver Creek School. The exchange of Christmas cards, since leaving Silver Creek, has been so nice. I was hoping to see Art When my third graders visit Jacobetti during the next school year. Art was a wonderful man with a kind and generous heart. I am not able to attend the service but know that my thoughts are with all of you.
Sincerely,
Nancy Usitalo
