Your family is in my thoughts during this very sad time. I have only good memories of Pat — when Kathe and I — and later MB and I made a trip to the UP we always stayed with Pat at her "tin can" as she called it. We laughed and ate and drank the entire visit. Your mom always had great stories. She was one of the smartest women I knew (it runs in the family) She was a wonderful hostess and a great cook. She always made me feel so welcomed. In fact, I believe there were a few times I stayed longer than I was supposed to because I didn't want to leave. I still make some of the recipes she gave me and think of her every time I make one. Whenever I talk to MB we never fail to recall a memory aboutyour mom. She will be missed.
