M. Patricia Scullion, 84, of Marquette, entered eternal life Thursday evening, May 4, 2006, at the Norlite Nursing Center.

Born October 18, 1921 in Salamanca, NY, a daughter of the late Cornelius and Catherine (Spencer) Collins, she was raised in Salamanca.

During World War II, Pat worked for the British and United States governments in Washington, D.C.  She also worked in the restaurant industry at a variety of locations.  A Marquette resident since 1964, she owned and operated the Honey Tree in the Marquette Mall, until her retirement in 1985.

Pat was a member of the former St. John the Baptist Catholic Church.  She was also active as a volunteer in the community.

Survivors include three daughters, Mary Kay Scullion of Lansing, Terri (Ron) Olson of Marquette, and Patrice (Clayton Jr) Scullion-Johnson of Skandia; a son, James (Kathleen) Scullion of Marquette; her grandchildren, Meghan Scullion, Sean (Meghan) Cassidy, Timothy (Tiffany) Scullion, Liam Scullion, Jennifer (Hugo) Munoz, Zachary Boyle, Ronald Olson Jr, James Olson, and Courtney Johnson; great-grandchildren, Tarryn Kaya, Kaylin, Dominic, Kara, Nick, Chelsea, Sky, Sheldon, Tara, and Gabriel; a sister, Ann Kunz of Cuba, NY.

In addition to her parents, Pat was preceded in death by a daughter, Kathe

Scullion Cassidy in 1989; and by a sister, Mary Bodenstein.

Friends may call at St. Louis the King Catholic Church in Harvey on Monday, May 8, beginning at 3:00 pm.  A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 4:00 pm with Rev. Lawrence Gauthier as celebrant.  A dessert reception will follow in the church fellowship hall.

Burial will be made in the Holy Cross Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the Norlite Nursing Center Patient Activity Fund, 700 Homestead, Marquette, MI 49855.
