James R. Dupras Sr, 62, of 116 Little Lake Road, Beaver Grove, entered eternal life Wednesday evening, May 24, 2006, at Marquette General Hospital, shortly after admittance.
Born March 22, 1944 in Marquette, a son of Lloyd E. and Pearl M. (Clement) Dupras, Jimmy was raised in the Beaver Grove area. He was employed for a time at the Cliff Dow Chemical Company and later as a dishwasher at several local restaurants, including the Northwoods Supper Club, Hudson’s Grill, and Wahlstroms. He retired due to disability. Jimmy was a good hearted soul and was always willing to help out whenever and wherever needed. He enjoyed hunting, especially rabbit hunting, gardening, and fishing.
Jimmy was very family oriented and is survived by:

Daughter: Cheryl Ann Dupras at home

Three grandchildren: Tasha, Ashley and Dakota James Dupras
Three sisters: Joan Cline of Gwinn, Roseann (Dean) Alcott of Osakis, MN; and Karen (Larry) Babcock of Beaver Grove
Brother: Lloyd E. Dupras Jr of Negaunee Township
Several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Jimmy was preceded in death by his parents; twin infant granddaughters; and a brother-in-law, James Cline.
Friends may call at St. Louis the King Catholic Church in Harvey on Monday, May 29, beginning at 12:00 noon. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 2:00 pm Monday afternoon with Rev. Ben Paris, pastor, as celebrant. A reception for family and friends will follow in the church’s Fr. Gauthier Hall.
