Carol Ann LeMaire, 69, of County Road 545 (Green Garden Location), entered eternal life Sunday, January 1, 2006, at her home.

Carol was born July 11, 1936 in Marquette, the daughter of Harry and Frances (Chopp) DeRusha, and was a lifelong Marquette area resident. Carol was a 1954 graduate of the Bishop Baraga High School and later worked as a kitchen aide at the Bothwell Middle School for ten years before retiring due to disability. In her leisure, Carol enjoyed going to the casino.

Survivors include:

1 son: Alan Scott Beauchamp of Marquette

Mother: Frances DeRusha of Marquette

1 Brother: Grant (Fay) DeRusha of Marquette

1 Niece: Shelly (Wayne) Rosin, and her daughter, Melissa, of Marquette

1 Nephew: Terry (Renee) DeRusha, and children, Jerad and Terra, of Harvey.

Carol was preceded in death by her father, Harry DeRusha; and her husband, Robert E. “Butch” LeMaire.

The Fassbender Funeral Home is serving the family. No services will be scheduled.
