Beverly Ann Augustson, 52, of Denver, Colorado, and former Marquette resident, entered eternal life Tuesday, December 27, 2005, at her home in Denver.
Beverly was born April 7, 1953 in Detroit, a daughter of Henry S. and Stella Kubik, and was raised in Warren. She was a 1971 graduate of the Warren Woods High School and later attended Macomb Community College. Beverly resided in Marquette, with her former husband, Robert Augustson, for 12 years, working as a flight attendant with American Eagle Airlines and Great Lakes Airlines. She moved to the Denver area a year and a half ago.
An avid outdoorswoman, who especially loved the Upper Peninsula’s wilderness and all it had to offer, Beverly greatly enjoyed skiing, snowmobiling, sailing, hiking, camping, and riding her bicycle. She loved animals and thoroughly enjoyed being out in nature.
Survivors include her parents, Henry and Stella Kubik of Sterling Heights
Her sister: Corinne (Bruce) Elwert of Sterling Heights
Former husband: Robert Augustson of Marquette
Beverly was preceded in death by a husband, Bill Hughes.
A Service of Remembrance will be held at the Fassbender Funeral Home on Friday, January 6, at 10:00 am with Rev. Andrew Martens officiating.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the American Heart Association.
