Aaron John Winslow, 26, of 2452 Norwood Street, Marquette, entered eternal life Monday afternoon, September 19, 2005, as the result of an automobile accident.

Born April 27, 1979 in Marquette, a son of David and Linda (Peterson) Winslow, Aaron was a lifelong Marquette resident. He was a 1998 graduate of the Marquette Senior High School where he was very active in the school’s wrestling program. Aaron was a member of the Messiah Lutheran Church and IBEW Local #1070. An avid outdoorsman, Aaron also enjoyed Detroit Lions Football, Red Wings Hockey, and NASCAR events. Aaron was in his fifth year of apprenticeship with the local electrician’s union and very proud of the new home he was in the process of building. Aaron’s canine pal and companion, Peanut, was never far from his side.

Sister: Amy Winslow of Marquette

Two brothers: Andrew Winslow and Adam (Aubrey) Winslow of Marquette

A niece and nephew: Freya and Cooper Holferty of Marquette

Maternal grandparents: Joe and Mary Bolt of Marquette

Several aunts, uncles, cousins, and Peanut.

Aaron was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Harold and Mary Lou Peterson; and paternal grandfather, Raymond Winslow.

Friends may call at the Fassbender Funeral Home on Thursday, September 22, beginning at 4:00 pm. Funeral services will follow at 7:00 pm Thursday evening in the funeral home with Rev. Leon Jarvis, Marquette General Hospital chaplain, officiating. Following the service, family and friends are invited to Aaron’s home where the celebration of his life will continue around a bonfire.

Burial will be made in the Park Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Adam and Andrew Winslow, Dan Larson, Marc Hautamaki, Dave Goulet, and Damion Noga.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the Winslow family.
