Cheryl Ann (Liljeroos) Tellefsen, 51, of 208 N. Pine Street, Gwinn, entered eternal life early Thursday morning, September 22, 2005, at Marquette General Hospital, where she had been admitted the previous evening.
Born January 1, 1954 in Marquette, a daughter of Lauri A. and Anna Mae (LaTourneau) Liljeroos, Cheryl was raised in Marquette and attended the Marquette schools. On July 15, 1972, she married David Tellefsen in Marquette. David was serving in the US Air Force and the couple made their home in several places around the world and in this country. They had been residents of Gwinn for the past three years. Cheryl was very devoted to her family and received her greatest pleasure from taking care of family and friends.

Three sons: Timothy Tellefsen of Gwinn; Brian Tellefsen serving with the US Navy in Mayport, FL; David Tellefsen II serving with the US Marine Corps
Her grandchildren: Mason and Jacob Tellefesen of Alabaster, AL
Her father, Lauri A. Liljeroos residing at the Jacobetti Home for Veterans
Sister, Linda (Mike) King of Gwinn
Five brothers, James Liljeroos of Republic; Scott Liljeroos of Negaunee; Dale (Kris) Liljeroos; Lyle Liljeroos; Roger Liljeroos all of Marquette
Several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins
Cheryl was preceded in death by her mother, Anna Mae Liljeroos; a brother, Lauri Allen Liljeroos; and stillborn infant sisters, Roxanne and Violet Liljeroos.
Friends may call at the Fassbender Funeral Home on Wednesday, September 28, beginning at 11:00 am. Funeral services will follow at 1:00 pm Wednesday afternoon in the funeral home with Cheryl’s cousin, retired Captain Christine LaTourneau of the Salvation Army, officiating. Burial will be made in the Park Cemetery.
