Born August 26, 1932 in Niagara Falls, New York, a son of Stanley and Nellie (Jarosz) Zuba, Paul was raised in Niagara Falls. He later entered the US Air Force, serving for 20 years, and was stationed at the former K.I. Sawyer Air Force Base. Following his honorable discharge and retirement, Paul served for 17 years with the Marquette County Sheriff’s Department. In his leisure, Paul enjoyed the outdoors, especially hunting and fishing. He was a member of VFW Post #5670, Gwinn, and American Legion Post #349, Little Lake, the National Rifle Association and Brass Roots.
Paul is survived by his wife, Patricia (King) Zuba, whom he married March 2, 1960. In addition to his parents, Paul was preceded in death by a sister and a brother.
A Service of Remembrance will be held in the Fassbender Funeral Home on Monday, June 13, at 6:00 pm with Rev. Leon Jarvis, Marquette General Hospital chaplain, officiating.
