Adam James Landgren, 22, of 316 Brookwood Lane, Harvey, entered eternal life Wednesday morning, April 20, 2005, at his home.

Born March 29, 1983 in Oconomowoc, Wisconsin, a son of Gerald Fordham and Dawn Marie (Kapperman) Landgren, Adam was diagnosed with autism at the age of 18 months.  His early years were spent in Wisconsin and he had been a resident of the Marquette area for the past 12 years.  Adam had been enrolled in special education classes at the Bothwell Middle School, and currently at the Marquette Senior High School.  Beloved by both his teachers and fellow students, he was affectionately known as the “Gentle Giant.”  Adam’s development throughout the years was supported by the inspiration, compassion, encouragement, and love of family and friends.  They, in return, were the beneficiaries of his great capacity for gentleness and love.  He will be missed, but not forgotten.

Survivors include his mother, Dawn Marie Landgren of Harvey; father, Gerald Fordham of Waukesha, WI; two sisters, Stephanie Landgren of Harvey and Christina (Shawn) Beiswenger of Jackson; five nephews, Timothy, Michael, Douglas, Jacob, and Dylan; several aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Friends may call at the New Life Church on Saturday, April 23, beginning at 1:00 pm.   A celebration of Adam’s life will follow at 3:00 pm Saturday afternoon in the church with Rev. Lew Pizzala, pastor, officiating.  A reception for family and friends will follow in the church fellowship hall.
